My First ATC!!

Hello Friends!!
We at Happy Little stampers start a new challenge this month and I have been given this awesome opportunity by Kylie to be a part of this team. The theme for this month is 'Flowers'. I decided to do a simple shaker ATC with a flower as the shaker. Hope you like it!!

For most of you will be familiar with shaker cards and the method to make them however for those of you who are new to this here is a simple explanation with some pics to help you understand.

I started with a 3 1/2"x3 1/2" black card stock and a piece of pattern paper slightly smaller, I used a flowers die to cut out the shape from the pattern paper so as to create a window. Covered the window from the back with a piece of packaging (you may use acetate)

Next used two flower dies to cut out a frame for the window.

Used double sided tape on the back of the pattern paper keeping the window but creating a wall around it .

Next added some transparent and iridescent sequins to create the shaker, Added the frame to outline the window. Added a sentiment with black and cut a flag, layer the flag with black. Added a strip of black for the stem and added the sentiment  like a leaf with the pop of red.

List of suppplies

cardstock
pattern paper
equins
flower shape dies
sentiment stamp
white gel pen,
